A traditional Gujarat compressed feed block combining psyllium husk, khakha, molasses, and mineral mix. The block format makes it easy to feed to dairy cattle and buffalo without additional processing or measuring. Long history of use in Gujarat and Rajasthan dairy farming.

Crude fibre 25–35%, crude protein 3–5%, fat (ether extract) 1.0–2.0%, total ash 4–6%, moisture ≤12%. Metabolisable energy approximately 9–10 MJ/kg DM.

The mucilage in psyllium absorbs water and forms a gel-like mass in the gut, slowing transit and improving nutrient uptake. This is particularly useful in high-producing dairy cows under heat stress where hydration retention supports milk yield and digestive health.
